I specialize in intensive, long-term treatment of personal and interpersonal concerns. Symptoms like anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, and relationship problems always arise from a broader life context that is worth understanding.
In my view, therapy is successful not only when negative symptoms decrease, but when positive growth is also experienced. I hope to witness improvements in creativity, productivity, fulfilling relationships, the capacity to relax, enjoy, and freely pursue your goals. Special attention will be paid to the sense of vitality in all areas of your life.
What to Expect
I will provide an empathic environment in which no topic is out of bounds and everything is listened to with the aim of understanding. As you freely speak your mind you will learn about who you are and how you function. With time, we will expect increased self-knowledge, self-mastery, along with a greater sense of freedom and authenticity.
I see patients from one to five times per week. As a rule, the more frequent our meetings, the deeper the treatment, and the better access we will have to the root of your concerns.
I am currently training to be a certified psychoanalyst and I invite those interested in undergoing psychoanalysis proper. This would require 4 to 5 weekly sessions for a minimum of two years.
